Are you burning your candles correctly?

Are your candles burning down a hole in the middle? Are they giving off unpleasant black smoke? Here are a few quick tips to care for your candles.

  • BURN UNTIL THE SURFACE MELTS

    Burn the candle for at least an hour until the entire surface is melted to avoid candles burning down a hole at the centre.

  • TRIM THE WICK

    Always trim the wick to around 0.5 cm above the wax before burning the candle to avoid black smoke. A nail clipper can come in handy.

  • KEEP IN SIGHT

    Do not burn more than 3-4 hours at a time and avoid burning it all the way to the bottom as wax may leak through the cracks of the natural stones.
